About
Aaron writes songs rooted in folk, country, and bluegrass traditions. Influenced by storytellers like Townes Van Zandt and Kris Kristofferson, he tries to capture the stories and experiences that connect us all.
Based in San Diego, Aaron's musical journey began in fourth grade, with the violin. His sound draws from contemporary songwriters like Jason Eady and Chris Knight alongside indie folk voices such as Conor Oberst and Colin Meloy, blending traditional approaches with modern perspectives.
A recent graduate of UC Davis, Aaron balanced his studies in Computer Science with his passion for music, earning minors in both Music and Philosophy. As a member of the Third Street String Band during his college years, he performed throughout Northern California, learning the collaborative spirit that shapes his songwriting.
Aaron's music reflects the restless spirit of artists like Zach Bryan and the honest approach of Benjamin Tod, filtered through his own West Coast experience. Whether performing solo acoustic sets or with a full band, his songs explore themes of love, loss, and the searching that comes with growing up.
